About Us

Sandry Fire Supply is a full-line distributor of fire and rescue equipment. With a team of 12 people, Sandry Fire covers all of Iowa and Illinois and beyond selling everything from boots and gloves to fire trucks to fire departments, industry and municipalities.

Sandry Fire started from a mission and a dream of owners, Bob and Mary Sandry in 1995. Bob had been a volunteer firefighter and assistant fire chief in Lansing, Iowa for many years. The couple's desire to own their own business along with Bob's passion for the fire service and desire to educate the consumer has developed into a great business for the family. The support of friends and family has been the key to the Sandry Fire success

Sandry Fire is proud to carry a line of high quality, well respected products, represented by a knowledgeable and respectful sales staff. With a focus on educating the customer and helping each department determine what equipment best suites their needs, the Sandry team continues to focus on developing long term relationships with their customers.

Due to the expansion of the business into Illinois, in June of 2002, Bob and Mary moved the business and their five children, Laura, Brett, Abby, Blake and Wade to DeWitt, Iowa. The plan was to run the business from their home for the first year in order to be there to help the children settle in to their new world. Although it took two years to make it happen, the business has finally moved out of their home. The Sandry's are thrilled to have completed renovation and remodeling of the old Skeffington grocery store into their new offices and warehouse. The transformation was extensive, but has resulted in a very functional facility for Sandry Fire.
